Natural Anxiety Remedies: Are they Enough?

There is an interesting dilemma with respect to natural anxiety remedies.  Anxiety negatively impact our lives even before it becomes a clinical condition.  Freezing up before giving a presentation at work, shouting at your kids every morning in the car, avoiding responsibility are common examples of excess anxiety.  Now the herbal products have some effectiveness, though they are not nearly as effective as a rigorous exercise plan or medication.

The dilemma is this:  people often wait until the last possible moment to address their own anxiety problems.  No one wants to believe that they have a problem.  Therefore, by the time a man or a woman is forced (by the dysfunction) to face it, it’s a good bet that they are already in the clinical zone of needing the best anxiety remedies.  Nevertheless, the two best natural anxiety remedies are (1) vigorous cardio exercise; (2)  changing your thought patterns.

Choose Your Steps Wisely

Making life changes requires effort. It's as if we all have a stack of "effort chips" that we can spend on a problem.

People who say they have "tried everything" to change usually mean that they have spent all their effort chips on the problem.

The key is to spend your effort chips strategically. When you find leverage, the problem gets fixed before your effort chips run out.

The 12 skills are about spending your "effort chips" wisely.
